West Cork Education Centre

The West Cork Education Centre provides educational facilities for teachers all over West Cork and beyond. The facilities consist of:

• 1 large seminar room, which can accommodate up to 75 people

• Two medium sized meeting rooms, each accommodating approximately 30 people

• One ICT Training Room, with 20 Networked Computers, DSL Broadband and an interactive Whiteboard. Teachers are welcome to call in for a demonstration at their convenience.

All rooms are equiped with:

Wireless Access to the network and internet

West Cork Education Centre can provide tea and coffee for those attending meetings or seminars.

Lunches can be arranged - contact our staff for assistance.

All facilities are free to teachers for educational purposes if available.

Resources

West Cork Education Centre is endeavouring to meet the ever growing needs of the teachers in West Cork. We have a well-stocked Reference, Video and a comprehensive Software Library.

Teachers are welcome to visit the centre to view and evaluate the software which is available. We have also built up a comprehensive range of Special Needs software and other peripherals including a Touch Screen Monitor. A computer has been dedicated for evaluation of these resources.
